Solar panel, PV (photovoltaic) panels, includes Monocrystalline (Mono) and Polycrystalline (Poly) panels. Some may call it solar modules.
Mostly, solar panels build in aluminum frame, some call it rigid panels, in silver color. The solar cell is in blue for poly module, and black/dark blue for mono module. Furthermore, the all black panel uses black cell, black sheet and black frame.
Is mono solar panel better than poly panel? Not necessarily. Now the poly cell can produce power close to mono cell already. They all carry same length warranty, which is up to 25 to 30 years. There are some semiflexible panels, which could only carry 1-3 years warranty.
