Solar PV (photovoltaic) panels includes Monocrystalline (Mono) and Polycrystalline (Poly) panels. Some may call it solar modules.
Mostly, solar panels build in aluminum frame, some call it rigid panels, in silver color. The solar cell is in blue for poly module, and black/dark blue for mono module. Furthermore, the all black panel uses black cell, black sheet and black frame.
Is mono panels better than poly panels? Not necessarily. Now the poly cell can produce power close to mono cell already. They all carry same length warranty. There are some semiflexible panels, which could only carry 1-3 years warranty.
In current market, the big panel could output over 500 watts in maximum.
